Snow front festival

Every Thursday evening during the season, the resort lights up for the Snow Front Festival! There's a light show, festive entertainment and a friendly atmosphere.

During the school holidays, the children open the evening with a torchlit descent, supervised by ESF instructors. Then it's time for the instructors' torchlight descent, a breathtaking light show, followed by a rousing flash mob.

The finale? A spectacular fireworks display to amaze young and old alike. And to prolong the magic, ESF and the Tourist Office are offering you a mulled wine or hot chocolate.

Important
Your children will be picked up by our instructors from 6pm at the Sybelles meeting point (at the top of the resort, accessible by free shuttle bus).

Once the descent is over, you can collect your children from the village centre meeting point at the snow front party inside the Piou-Piou club.
Register before 4pm on Thursday at our esf offices or online.

Registration and results

Flèche and Chamois

The ESF instructors at Saint-Sorlin-d'Arves invite you to test your limits with the Flèche and Chamois events. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, these exciting, timed courses are a unique opportunity to experience adrenalin and adventure. Ready to take up the challenge and reveal your potential? Sign up now!

Event information :
  • The Flèche: A giant slalom race lasting around 40 seconds. The course has between 25 and 35 gates and a vertical drop of between 200 and 250 m.
  • The Chamois: A special slalom event lasting around 30 seconds. The course comprises between 30 and 40 gates and a difference in altitude of between 120 and 200 m.
Results are calculated according to % in addition to the basic time achieved by an ESF instructor opener.

Registration:
  • The fee for each event is 9€.
  • Sign up as soon as you arrive at the ESF office to take part in these exciting challenges!
